I don't know how to link, but the author is Bill Fink, posted 2/24/2015.

His choices are:
1. Congaree, SC, for which he invents the "mosquito meter"
2. Gates of the Arctic, complaint, "no trails"
3. Badlands, SD, he got the date of the dirt wrong, 10-30 my, rather than "50,000 year old mud".
4. Wind Cave, SD, blames the breeze on the rangers and the prairie dogs
5. Death Valley, CA & NV, thinks it's ugly.

Well, I can't argue with his first choice, since I've never heard of the place. He was only comparing 59 National Parks, did not include National Monuments, recreation areas, battle fields, etc, which would have tabulated at least 400 sites. But I feel like the author didn't do his homework. #'s 2, 3 and 4 all have their strange beauties, including fat prairie dogs and crystalline box-work, and some of our folks have posted magnificent photo essays of Death Valley.

Since things are way too quiet here just now, shall we consider what may be our least National Parks?
