can be tedious at times, details follows in order of importance;
1- Apply for membership by emailing your chosen Loon Id and dues payment to 46er.
2- Submit with the application and payment a 10,000 word essay on why you should be accepted as a Loon.
3- Post a minimum of 27 pictures doing something Loony in YNP. Dangerous activites do not count.
4- Memorize the Loon Pledge.
Once your application and payment have cleared, you will be sent the Loon Membership kit containg the Loon Secret Decoder ring, the official Loon whistle to signal other Loons, an official Loon window sticker as pictured above. Any questions should be directed to the Head Loon or one of the 3 official Loon photographers. Thank you for your time, but more importantly, thank you for your membership fee.
