Hi Albee and the everyone here at Loonzone. Hope Everyone is doing well. Thanks Albee for the birthday wishes. Am now 61 and I still have my health and doing well.
This past summer I was gonna go back to the Thorofare and the Absarokas all summer. But with all the snow here, mymind changed and I instead went on back to Alaska.I flew into Juneau in Mid July, then I went and hung out, camped, and hiked in the Haines area. After this I went on back down to Wrangell in SE Alaska which I soooo love with hanging out here and camping for several weeks. Then on up and over to Yakutat. Yakutat and the area is absolutely Fabulous. And all the bears near Yakutat! Here then on over to the Kenai Peninsula into August. I really hung out and camped some in the Kenai Fjords NP Area in South Central Alaska. And during my stay in Alaska, of course more Bears ( with some on the (beach), more whales including both Humpback and Orcas. Plus tons of birds. I also saw a Rock Ptarmigan which makes me now have seen all 3 species of North American Ptarmigans.
Later came back in August for a bit on the Olympic Peninsula and coastline. Then back to Jackson, Wy on August20th. Here I rode my bike up to the Gros Ventreon the 21st whcih I saw the solar eclipse. Fabulous!
In SeptemberIthen went south to South Utah and Northern Arizona for several months to mid / late November in wandering about, camping, and hiking. Fabulous!
Came back to Jackson in late November with right back to work and such. Now will be here till probably May, and then right back to the deep wilds again to next fall or winter.
Life is Great!!!!! There is sooooo much to see and to do in life! I am and all of us are soooo blessed by the Awesome Creator!
