I just realized it could not have been my folk's 25th anniversary. They were married in 1948. I also recalled that part of the big deal was that my ex-wife's parents were married on June 26 as well, but a few years earlier. They were with us in Yellowstone, so us kids decided to make a big deal out of the anniversary. This might explain why the scripting on the cake with Red Hots took so long. We also had to write "Vance and Phyllis".
