is what you can call me, but it seems to have been this way as long as I can remember. Society has become more coarse with less respect for others. This combined with ever bigger numbers visiting the parks every year is the cause for so much friction. The advent of everyone having some form of a digital camera does not help matters. One can stand there and shoot a zillion shots and hope you get the "one". Now days you can get a quality print enlargement easily.

It happens in Glacier Park too. Probably not to the degree it does in Yellowstone because of less roads. I'm only happy in the park when hiking. The less I am on a road the better. The crowds are getting worse up there also. Trying to get a parking place at Logan Pass or even the Many Glacier area after 9:00am is now something I have to think about when visiting the park.

My fear is that stricter regulations are in the future. Maybe even a daily limit of people entering the parks or less use of private vehicles. I will hate that because I do love the freedom of moving around where and when the urge hits me.
