I met John and Patti while watching wolves at Slough...he was so excited to meet more Loons! Patti was smart enough to stay in the car that cold, damp, and windy May day, but was just as happy to meet some more of Jp's friends. We kept in touch over the years, with a shared love of Yellowstone, family, and NASCAR (Art). It is so unusual to know someone so totally real...genuine and sincere with no pretence. RIP John
