Any idea if this is feasible?

I'm trying to plan this year's vacation (around San Antonio after a business trip to Austin TX) while my husband is already throwing ideas at me for NEXT year...

His latest wild hair involves a business meeting in San Diego in June 2018. He thinks that we can hop in our car, leave Lawrenceburg KY, drive to Northern CA, tour the redwoods, drive down along the coast, over thru Yosemite & Sequoia, then on into San Diego by the 9th day, spend 2 days (days #10 and 11) at his meeting there, and then head across to the Grand Canyon before heading back to Kentucky making it home on the 16th day.

I think his plan is a little "ambitious"... Driving hard is feasible. Taking time to stop & enjoy & take pictures... not so much.

What do y'all think????>

(Oh and in the meantime, if you have any suggestions for Austin or San Antonio, feel free to chime in. I think I've got that pretty well planned out but am always open to suggestions - especially for Austin where I'll be on my own in the middle of downtown while he's in meetings...)
