If you capitalize the "d" in "ducks", and consider Oregon football fans, I heard what was probably more like 15,000 or 20,000 Ducks quacking at the 2000 Holiday Bowl. It was my first in person experience at an Oregon game, and hearing those fans using their duck calls every time their team did something good was more than a little annoying. The fact that we were pulling for Texas, which lost the game 30-35, might have had something to do with our reaction.
Excellent photos! I love that first nest. Talk about "low maintenance" and "sturdy".
