The Gold Hunter article points out the arsenic-bearing gold deposits in Bear Gulch...wonder what that does to the area? And thanks for the review on the New World acquisition. I'd like to know exactly where the "arsenic-enrichment" to the sewer lines is showing up (this discussion has been a learning experience in the difference between sewage and sewerage!). Might have a significant input into who or what is responsible. There are several surfaces in the Jardine area that may be contributing to mineralized enrichment in the lines. But I am wondering about some 1930-40's era developments inside the park boundary near the grade-school, an old coal mine, and the location of the CCC camp.

Mostly not making a plug for the publication, I'd like to let people know that the old Doris Whithorn pamphlet on Gardiner, Jardine and Crevasse has been re-issued by YGM, as a 81/2 x 11 inch soft-bound with re-processed and upgraded images, and some new re-take photographs.
