Hoot,
I am surprised that the aspen were in prime condition in late October, but then again, I've never been in that area in September or October. Up north, in RMNP, where I hung out for many years, prime varied by elevation, but tended to run between the third week of September and first week of October. You obviously caught these groves in their prime.
This is a great bunch of images! I always wanted to get over to select parts of rural southcentral Utah, west of the Blanding/Bluff area, and east of Bryce Canyon and Zion. There are some killer humongous groves in the mountains around there. I never did get around to it. It seemed I was always wandering around there in December or March, while passing through on the way somewhere else.
Thanks for the eye candy.
