Check out the story from the Great Falls Tribune about a group of 13 grizzlies hanging out together along the Rocky Mountain Front, about 90 miles northwest of Great Falls.
My first thought was that it had to be a food magnet that drew them together, but the Montana FWP experts say they didn't see any obvious food magnet in the area. (We know that bears are extremely hyperphagic at this time of year, as they prepare to den, but this circumstance defies any precedent I am aware of.)
Any ideas on what brought all these bruins together, like:
1.) Cub fans trying to find a TV to watch Game 7?
2.) Politically savvy bears forming a SuperPac?
3.) Organizing to submit a grievance to the rancher?
Both humorous and/or serious ideas are solicited.
