to GTNP they were removing the bodies of 2 climbers, one was a female from our home state, from Symmetry Spire that was easily seen from the trail we were on. This was in the early 70's. A study showed an avg of 2 climbing deaths a year, but it is pretty old. Dangerous stuff.
