They are all in a panic about their Brucelosis free status. It would be a huge financial hit to them to loose it and they have no faith in the testing system. Personally I think the risk is almost insignificant given the difficulty of transmitting it from bison to cattle. Elk are much more a risk but are their own economic engine. The tribes want the bison and several have gone through lengthy court battles to try to obtain them. DG
