I'm not too worried about the highest lake, it's pretty steep to get to, and i don't remember a road up to it. There are several ways to work your way to the lower lakes, including driving off the high cliff from the side closest to the highway. There was a road there, but I seldom was issued a vehicle that would pull the grade back up. From the west, there was a road from the VC trash dump that accessed the lower lakes, and the maps showed a road to eastern lower lakes from the Ennis side. I wondered if the eastern lower lakes had been the ones used for Grayling. The west side lakes showed some signs of having been developed or strengthened to hold water which was then ditched into alder Gulch to power the "monitors" or hydraulic mining hoses.
