They love them, and visitors are encouraged to feed them. :-) Oh, and go into Rushmore via Custer and the Oak canyon up the pigtail bridges and tunnels that frame the presidents on Rushmore. And the Borglum museum in Keystone! Wall Drug, Devil's Tower, lots to see in that area. Have fun!
