It was a good move, right? My hummingbirds here stay all year and I have no idea why. First two years that they stayed over I did not feed them because it was my belief they needed to go south. Third year I gave in and kept their feeders out. I have no idea where they go on freezing nights.

I googled Nevada city, and not only is it charming, it seem's it is described as The Crown Jewel of the motherlode!
