Sandhill Cranes

The cranes seem to be leaving their wintering grounds in CA's Central Valley. We
had a flock of more than 100 fly over house here in Nevada City. I can hear more
passing by on either side. A large flock went over a couple days ago.It's springtime
here on the western slope foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Sitting here on the back
patio in the sun. We need more winter.
