Hello all!! Long time no update but I HAD to post an update for baby Mia. She has
been home from the hospital for awhile now. In adjusted age terms she is 7 months
old now but will be at her one year birth date the day after Christmas.
SHE IS DOING GREAT!!! We just got to spend several hours with her and her parents
today and the family is happy and healthy. She is getting physical therapy twice per
week and has to eat every 4 hours but other than that is a normal 7 month old. She
smiles, stands on her Dad's lap with his support, giggles when we swings her through
the air. She laughs a lot too, is well aware of her surroundings, and as of now does not
need any more surgeries.
Wow, just WOW! Miracles happen. Baby Mia is proof of that. Your prayers and good
wishes helped, I know they did!!! I forgot to get a picture but promise that the next
time I see her I will get one to share!!!!
