Some items they found...
*Almost all of the bison skeletons were cows or calves.
*There are almost no remains of skulls. They have found at least 600 bison skeletons. Throughout the whole area, they have found only 3 skulls.
*From examination of the bones/skeletons, almost all of the calves were EITHER 6 months or 18 months when they were killed. The ranger said that points to the hunters returning to the same site at the same time of year... probably fall when the coats were the thickest.
*These bison seem to be larger than the bison we know, and are thought to be bison antiquus or ancient bison.
