There used to be a resident coyote in the UGB. Unfortunately, bad visitors forced drastic action. It is not uncommon to hear and see coyotes in the UGB throughout the winter. Mix in some howling with Riverside or Grand and you've got yourself one great soundtrack to the eruption.
